Existing UP students (both accommodated and non-accommodated) and students already admitted to their first year of study for the academic year 2024/2025 can submit applications for accommodation in dormitories from April 24, 2024.
- Until May 6, 2024, currently accommodated students will be able to make a reservation on a priority basis, only for their existing room.
- From May 7, 2024, all students (with a successful application) will be allowed to make a reservation in any dormitory and any vacant place, only until the accommodation capacity is exhausted.
Students submit the application electronically in the ISKAM accommodation system. Existing students proceed through the login to the UP Portal, then the "tiles" Dormitory/ISKAM. Students entering their first year apply directly at https://iskam.upol.cz (use the "Links" and "Log candidates " menu). More detailed information about the accommodation procedure (how to apply, choose a room, pay, etc.) is available in the instructions.
A necessary condition for a firm reservation of a place is the payment of the security deposit in full and signing the Accommodation Contract within 14 days of making your booking. Both can be done online in the ISKAM system. Students can also sign the Accommodation Contract physically in the office of the Dormitory Officer, but only in justified cases.
In case students don’t sign the Accommodation Contract within 14 days of making the booking, their booking will be cancelled (even if the security deposit has been paid or transferred from the previous year).
Check-in to the dormitories is possible only on weekdays during office hours. The exception to this is so-called "Accommodation Sunday", which will take place on September 22, 2024 and is the latest date for accommodation to start.
The earliest you can check in to the Generál Svoboda, Šmeralova and 17. listopadu dormitories is September 6, 2024 (no earlier start date can be selected).
The earliest you can check in to the E. Rošický and Chválkovice dormitories is September 9 2024 (no earlier start date can be selected).
